Milestone: Pre-Alpha 0.02

Guys, i’ve made some good progress during the last weeks. Today i’ve finished developing v0.02 of “The Game” and i want to let you know what it means and which will be the next steps.

Scene 1 is almost ready. All the dialogues and game mechanics are done and working, it’s great to see how everything comes together. Of course, some things are still missing, because they only can be added later.

Next Milestone

v0.03

Finishing Scene 2. It starts with a complete overhaul of the 3D-Location, its objects, shaders and everything. Then i mount the scene in Unity and write the code. Most likely i will delete it half the way, because i found a better way. Don’t worry, that’s just normal 🙂

Overall progress

I’ve decided about the game’s original title and registered a proper website url. Pre-Website is also in the works and will go online 2 or 3 weeks before the first playable version, probably v0.08/v0.09 if i can believe my production plan.

Milestone: Prototype done

This was a good week. I just finished prototyping “Luisa – The Game” (work title) and can now move on to developing the Pre-Alpha, which will also be an early public test version.

This also means that i can give away more teasers, previews and alike in the future… Today i even started creating the ingame world map and after many considerations i decided about the title and plot. I had a few options but this one is the hottest. Very catchy, you’ll see.

2D Porn and Click Adventure

Making a game is a shitload of work. I’m still developing the prototype of “The Game”. Version 0.01 will contain most game mechanics it needs for a funny 2D Point Porn and Click Adventure. At the moment i’m working on a simple way to save the player’s progress in game.

I hope that by the end of July i’ll have a working prototype. I’m totally new to Unity and C#, so i want to be really sure that i can make such a game on my own. Prototyping helps me to test out how far i can get in a reasonable period.

After that i will start developing the official Pre-Alpha. I have plans to release that version to the public for testing and a little bit of teasing.

What i am absolutely not sure about is the title and presentation. Should i start a dedicated website? Release it under a new label? Twitter and what not? Maybe it’s better to just make one step after another 😉

I’m sorry that all my other projects are on a hold and everything i’ve written here before is redundant. But after making her a virtual porn star and adorable comic character, i really want Luisa to become a sexual super hero in her own computer game… Well, and that’s a shitload of work.

Top secret super early prototyping.

Apart from messing up my patreon and flushing it down the drain i’m very good at developing new projects and keeping them top secret. Well, not that top secret i guess…

So, before i tell you about my latest project, please understand that nothing’s carved in stone and i’m still having no clue what i’m talking about. Am i having your attention now? Good 🙂

Making dreams come true…

Anyway, it always was my dream to create a video game. A 3D Porn Game to be exact. I already had that dream when i created the character “Luisa” about 15 years ago.

Over time i’ve made interactive Flash files, PDF-Comics, the MX Media Display, Javascript Picture Shows – and then i discovered Unity.

I’m not completely new to the Unity Editor and Game Engine, but still consider myself a noob. A couple of weeks ago, when i was thinking about my projects and took all pros and cons into consideration, i suddenly thought:

“why don’t you just make that game you’re dreaming about for so long?”

Only one second later i put all my current projects on ice.

Luisa – The Game

I’m into it. I’m down. I’m working on a prototype. I’m calling it “Luisa – The Game”. It’s a work title for an Erotic Point and Click Adventure.

I even have a roadmap and pretty clear image of what the game should be. There are many cool erotic games out there, 3DX or hand-drawn, but my game will be different. I’m excited!

At the moment i only have one day per week to work on the game. But i’m making really good progress! It surprises me. I’m very focused on learning everything i need to know, from UI-Design to Scene Management, making clickable objects and animated sprites. There’s still so much to do.

Currently i’m sitting on Version 0.01, which means super early prototyping. When i have a running prototype (v0.1) i will release it for free to hopefully get some input and motivation to work on an early access version.

Everything’s on hold

Please understand that all my other projects, including Luisa B. Episode 5, are on hold. A new Luisa Episode won’t happen this year. I’m making that game now, wish me luck. Thanks for your support.
